Amanda M. Luthy joined Advocacy Trust in 2021 as a trust officer, bringing her skill set to asset protection trusts and special assets held in trust. She comes to the Nashville team with a solid background in the trust world, an ability to teach others, and problem-solving skills from various business roles. Amanda’s unique skill set and passion for helping others make her an invaluable resource to the beneficiaries she serves and to the entire Advocacy Trust team.

Before joining Advocacy Trust, Amanda served in the Estates Division and Personal Trust Division at Cumberland Trust in Nashville. She worked in education, teaching math, and coaching volleyball at the secondary school level, and teaching as an adjunct professor in the business schools of Belmont University and UT Chattanooga. Amanda’s first job was at Cargill, Inc., holding various positions within corporate strategy and then holding positions of grain trading and sales in one of Cargill’s food industries. Amanda has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago, a Bachelor of Arts in economics & mathematics from Knox College in Illinois, and a CTFA license.

Amanda volunteers at Nashville Adult Literacy Council and teaches children’s Sunday School at her local church. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family (husband and college-aged children), boating on Kentucky Lake with her parents, trying new classes at the local YMCA, and reading.
